OVERVIEW

This is how the whole thing started!

He lost the hope and made up his mind to kill himself .. he took his beer’s bottle and went to the railway which is just behind his huge villa and stood on it watching the train coming forward to him. As his eyes were fixed on a faraway hill, all his life was going in front of him as a video clip, he has no fun in this life.

As he was hearing the train horning for him to get back, he took a big cigar of drug and turned it on after he took a deep breath, and he knows that his life is going to be ended in a few seconds .. The train got closer and closer till it reaches a few inches of him, but suddenly his bottle fall down on the side of the rail way and reflected to him to push him at the back and let him fall down while he’s watching the train passing in front of his hopeless eyes.

His girl friend just heard the noise and came to him wondering, but he stood back and ran away as a child to his room and start crying and crying. That was no use. At the same day later, that guy sat at his wonderful beautiful garden, but he felt as he’s in a hell! Remembering how he went out from his home – Jordan – to Denmark to find his success, all what he had is $75 at the beginning, even he didn’t have any home for more than one month, he was sleeping at the parking lots looking for a job until he started to be a waiter at a big restaurant.

That gave him a big eager to start studying and saving some money for the future until he could own the restaurant and be his head manager. He’d got his education and a successful job But still no fun! He was going with his friends to the clubs and the dirty places playing, drinking then drugging and have fun with girls and he had a lot of money to save and own a big villa after he was renting a poor apartment .. He looked at his huge house and looked around as an idea came to his mind and said: “this is the best way, marriage! Having a wife to fell all the emptiness which I have in my heart!”

He booked a ticket to Jordan and went back to choose his soul mate, and here we go! His mom choused his cousin for him, she is beautiful, talented, very smart and has a FAITH!

She didn’t take him for love at the beginning, but for tradition!

They weren’t really happy since the guy always complain and having his friends everywhere, every time even the girls stay with him, but all what she could do is watching and praying, until one of the days she was sitting with him and his friends beside a lake, and there were a big bugs flying around. Suddenly she shouted and said: “that’s it, I can’t take it anymore! You are drugging! And I am going to tell the police!” it was a shock for everybody, how dir her to do that in front of her husband, but instead of being calm, she stood up and looked at him and said: “even you Dahood, you’re going to jail! You know that’s wrong!” .. he laughed as he wanted to pretend and said: “oh sweetie! How did you know that’s a drug??” .. she replied with a confidence: “I saw the bugs when it flies and pass over the smoke, they fall down and die!” .. that was a smart and alert idea, she could discover that was a drug after she was thinking the whole time that plant which Dahood plants, is a normal living green!

He took her home and had a big fight, then he reserved a ticket for her to go home at the next day.

That was a loud night! He took 3 shots, smoked a lot of the cigars and danced with the most beautiful girls to get that out of his mind but he couldn’t, there is something calling him upstairs at his room, his wife forgot her bible on his bed, and that made him all the time worry to hold this book and have a strange desire to read it. In spite of the facts that his body is drunk, but he’s still 100% awake. He made it short night and let everybody to go home early, then he took off his clothes, took his beer’s bottle and sat fighting with that bible on the bed.

He started to read and read, he absolutely knows everything in it since his father was a pastor, but that hunger in his heart pushed him to read not just by his eyes but also by his mind. He started to hate his life, but this time having a desire to change, but he didn’t know how!

One of the Sundays, he decided to go to church, he took a smoke of drug and went to the building trying not to hear anything, but he was 100% awake again, and he listened to every single word that pastor was saying, and he started to remember his wife saying the same words as he thought she is an angel came to him to guide him. He felt in peace and he went again to the church next week and fortunately there were a new pastor preaching on the stage, as he was speaking, Dahood felt that every single word is going right away to his heart. The pastor was saying: “While I was praying last night, I know that someone will take the salvation tonight and God told me to tell him that this night is the perfect time to him!”

Dahood knows what the salvation is, he knows that without Jesus Christ blood and his dying on the cross, he wouldn’t be saved, and all what he has to do is to confess and ask God for forgiveness, but he is delaying as he thinks that he still have a lot of fun and joy to do before he gets the salvation. But that Pastor insisted and said after he finished his preaching: “who would like to take Jesus Christ as a savior of his heart, please stand up so we can pray for him.” Couple of people stood up at the beginning, then he said: “I still feel that God is calling that man to come to God.” My father was just looking at him and pretending and discouraging himself to stand up, while tens of the people started to stand up until most of the people in the church had been stood up. But the pastor stayed insisted to telling that the man didn’t stand up yet, until he shouted and said: “I know that in the name of Jesus Christ, this guy will stand up tonight and take Jesus as a savior to his life.” And Dahood felt a huge of power forced him and strengthened his feet and body to stand up, then the pastor said: “Thank you!” and start praying to end the meeting.

All what Dahood is did that he went to his car as soon as possible to stay away from people, but he felt as a shining bright light coming from his heart to outside and he started to cry and laugh, he had never felt in happiness as he’s feeling that day, he was born again! He went home and called his believer brother in United States and they started crying with a great happiness. He already started a new life, life of love, happiness, hope, and joy.

His wife – Kulthoum – was coming back by an airplane and she was praying that God take her soul and her child soul from her before she reach Denmark. She looked at the glasses in the airport to see a handsome smiling guy is waving for her, she couldn’t believe it, Dahood is much more deferent than before, he gave her a red rose and say to her: “Peace from God!” Without any thinking, she knew that he is now a new man, she hugged him and kissed him, and she was completely happy with him in Denmark until God called him to come back to Jordan to serve him at the church.

Dahood Qewar became a pastor for four local churches that God has called him to plant them in a Muslim country, and spent every minute of his life serving the Lord with his lovely wife Kalthoum, who is continuing after his work and projects after he died in 12/30/2003.
